End-of-life
The product end-of-life refers to the stage in a product’s lifecycle when it reaches the end of its useful life and is no longer functional or desired by the consumer. This refers to what happens to the materials once the product is consumed or no longer needed. Here are a few examples of packaging end-of-life. Recycling, reuse, composting, and landfill are all options of what to do at their end-of-life stage. By considering end-of-life during the production of packaging materials we can reduce waste and make more environmentally friendly choices.
