Bio-based Materials

These are materials that are derived from renewable resources found in nature, such as plants or agricultural by-products. These materials are used as alternatives to traditional materials. These materials can help reduce our reliance on finite resources, such as fossil fuels and reduce the environmental impact of our everyday products. They have a smaller carbon footprint compared to traditional materials because the plants used to create them absorb carbon dioxide as they grow, this offsets some emissions associated with production.
